“Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost; teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen”
This passage is found in the twenty-eighth chapter of the gospel of Matthew and is frequently called the “Great Commission.” This is also the theme of the Music Ministry for the upcoming 2016 year.
We believe that this year will be a time of great harvest for the kingdom of God. I believe that this can be accomplished in a two-fold way, and that is with a combination of both corporate and personal ministry.
As we prepare for the upcoming year, we will emphasize as both musicians and singers, a closer commitment to welcoming the visitation of the Holy Spirit into our worship services and prayer meetings. We will prayerfully seek the guidance of the Spirit to minister to the lost as they enter into the sanctuary.
We also will place a renewed interest in our personal sharing of the love of Christ to our community and beyond. We welcome any of you who would like to join us on this exciting journey.
May God bless you as we worship him in Spirit and in truth during the month of January!
In His Service,
